Ancienne et noble famille italienne, connue sous le nom de Paladini, Palladini ou Paladino, originaire de France, de vertu claire et ancestrale, répartie au cours des siècles dans diverses régions d'Italie. Au moment des premières croisades, ils se sont d'abord déplacés en Sicile, d'où ils sont ensuite passés à Naples, à la noblesse de laquelle ils ont été agrégés au siège de Montagna. Par la suite, ils se sont diversifiés à Teramo et enfin à Lecce. D'autres noyaux de la famille sont historiquement documentés également à Chigiano, Lucca, Forlì, Reggio Emilia, Casirate d'Adda et dans diverses villes de Calabre et de Sicile, à Chypre et aussi en Dalmatie. À Teramo, ils étaient parmi les plus nobles depuis le début du XIVe siècle et ils possédaient les fiefs de Caraccio, Caprificìo, Tessano, Leognaono, Catignano, Leonessa, S.
