Alte Familie und sehr berühmte sizilianische Familie, die in Palermo, Licata, Naro und Caltagirone Adel genoss und sich über die Jahrhunderte in verschiedenen Regionen Italiens ausbreitete. Ein Enrico aus Licata war ein Soldat unter König Pietro, und vielleicht war es er selbst, der Caro 1282 die Position des Henkers von Palermo innehatte. Ein Falco (oder Fulco), ein Soldat aus Naro, erhielt vom König Federico am 12. Mai 1366 die Konzession des Bauernhauses und des Lehens von Ravanusa und erhielt die Bestätigung der Lehen von Monterosso, Milgi, Jancarano und Jandilgaldino. ein Roger von Prätor von Palermo in den Jahren 1394-95; Ein Federico wurde im Jahr 1401-2 in Caltagirone vereidigt, und im selben Jahr hatte in Salemi ein Palmerio das gleiche Amt inne. ein Retter wird in der Rolle der Feudalherren von 1408 als Baron von Canicatti erwähnt; Ein Benedikt, Sohn von Fulco, wurde am 10.
