Carlo Alberto, king of Sardinia, with a diploma dated 30 November 1831, taking into consideration the places, diligent and loyal services provided by Callisto, lieutenant colonel and major second in the square of Cagliari, granted him and his male descendants perpetually the privileges of knighthood and nobility. Therefore the male descendants of this family have the title of knight and nobleman, with the treatment of don; to females the personal titles of noble and woman. Callisto had married in Cagliari on May 15, 1811, the noblewoman Angela Angioi and his son Fedele was born in Cagliari on June 13, 1826. Fedele himself had married in Cagliari on May 7, 1864, woman Francesca Sanjust and had three daughters. Maria born in Cagliari on March 15, 1868; Giovanna, born in the same city on May 8, 1877, and Carlotta, born in Villacidro on December 21, 1879.
