Carlo Alberto, re di Sardegna, con diploma in data 30 novembre 1831, prendendo in considerazione i luoghi, diligenti e leali servizi prestati da Callisto, luogotenente colonnello e maggiore in seconda della piazza di Cagliari, concedeva a lui ed ai suoi discendenti maschi in perpetuo i privilegi di cavaliererato e di nobiltà. Spettano pertanto ai discendenti maschi di questa famiglia i titolo di cavaliere e di nobile, col trattamento di don; alle femmine i titoli personali di nobile e di donna. Callisto aveva sposato in Cagliari il 15 maggio 1811 la nobildonna Angela Angioi ed il suo figlio Fedele nacque a Cagliari il 13 giugno 1826. Lo stesso Fedele aveva sposato in Cagliari il 7 maggio 1864 donna Francesca Sanjust ed ebbe tre figlie. Maria nata a Cagliari il 15 marzo 1868; Giovanna, nata nella stessa città il giorno 8 maggio 1877, e Carlotta, nata a Villacidro il 21 dicembre 1879.
