Procede, y allí tuvo su primitivo solar, de la parroquia de San Juan de Pando, lugar que pertenece al Ayuntamiento de Carranca y partido judicial de Valmaseda, en Vizcaya. Otras casas, dimanadas de la anterior, radicaron en el Valle de Trucios, del partido de Valmaseda, y en el lugar de San Miguel de Ahedo, del Ayuntamiento de Carranza. En la provincia de Santander hubo otras casas del apellido P., entre las que figuran la del lugar de Cicero, del Ayuntamiento de Bárcena de Cicero y partido judicial de Santoña; la del lugar de Quijano, del Ayuntamiento del Valle de Piélagos y partido judicial de Santander, y la del lugar de Tezanos y villa de Selaya, el Ayuntamiento y partido judicial de Villacarriedo. Del solar de la parroquia de San Juan de Pando (Carranza) era descendiente en mediados del siglo XVII Juan de P., esposo de doña María de la Peña,
