Diciamo della Donna Maria Sotelo, e Panzo figlia di Donna Catarina Panzo, e cugina di Don Pietro Panzo Vescovo di Calaorra; la cui Famiglia Panzo in Spagna, è originaria della Città di Santo Domingo de la Galzada capo del Vescovato, vicino gli confini di Biscaglia, ove questa famiglia visse antichissima con invecchiata Nobiltà, avendo goduto molte cariche, così militari, come Ecclesiastici, de' quali modernamente se ne conserva la memoria di Don Pietro Panzo, Vescovo di Calaorra soggetto degno di molta stima, i cui nipoti furono Don Pietro Panzo, Presidente di Castiglia, e Patriarca delle Indie, col cui carico morì, e Don Martin Panzo, Vescovo primieramente d'Oviedo, e dopo di quello d'Osma, i quali sono sepolti ambedue nel Monastero di donne dell'Ordine Cistercense, fondato dal Presidente Don Francesco Panzo, Arcivescovo, che fu del Mexico nell'India Occidentale,
