Antichissima famiglia di Rossano, alla quale appartenne quel Gaspare (decaduto a Torino, 9 luglio 1784), di Bartolomeo, il quale fu avvocato collegiato, senatore di Piemonte (1768) e reggente Cancelliere di Sardegna (1784). Fu infeudato di Roderetto e di punti di Perrero il 31 agosto 1768 e investito il 9 settembre successivo col titolo comitale. Fu suo figlio Giuseppe (nato Dronero, 13 marzo 1771, decaduto a Torino, 7 agosto 1835), il quale dalle sue nozze con Anna Maria Blavet procreò Stefano (nato a Villafranca Mare, 7 giugno 1824, decaduto a Nizza Marittima, 2 gennaio 1876), che fu l'ultimo del ramo primogenito. Il terzogenito di Gaspare, Giambattista Giacinto (nato a Torino, 3 novembre 1773), decaduto a Busca, 27 settembre 1842) formò linea e furono suoi figli Luigi e Gaspare Giuseppe.
