Aragonese family whose branch moved to Sardinia in the fifteenth century with a Giovanni, who was vice-conservator of the royal heritage and died in 1418 fighting against the rebels in Orosei. His son Ferdinando bought the lordship of Sedilo from the Ferraris and had the Barbagia of Belvì as a fiefdom from the king. In 1421 he participated in the parliament of Alfonso V. Giacomo, his son, in 1459 he sold Sedilo to the Cubello family and after his death Barbagia returned to the tax authorities. Among the oldest and most illustrious families that from France, and Spain that flourished at the time of the French kings of Carolea, and of the Spanish royal houses, Aragon, Castile and others, this family lived with splendor, whence it then under military auspices, and governments passed in Italy, and in the various regions, opulent Regions of all human sizes. The origin of the family is known and this leads to assumptions that offer the possibility of promoting research from which to draw reliable information. In the centuries spent with various kings to conquer the lands of the Kingdom of Italy many Lords, and French Knights, and Spaniards; who, after the victory obtained by that King, coming from the same remunerated States, and of wealth, gave birth to a prosapia and settled with them houses in castles, or walled towers, and parts of the Kingdom, in reward for their services military; among which this family.
