Da Lodulfo Suardo Barone Germano, ò Tedesco, nè pervenne Merino Suardo forte, e valoroso Cavaliero, che discacciato dal dominio di Bergamo dalla famiglia Coglione, e d'altre potenti, contra la casa Suarda congiurate, si ritirò in Francia, dove dal Rè Carlo V fù honorevolmente ricevuto, col quale s'impiegò a trattare il casamento trà Ludovico Duca di Lorena suo fratello, e Valentina figlia di Gio.Galeazzo Maria Duca di Milano con 400 mila scudi di dote, e l'effettuò, onde in ricompensa di tal servitio diede quel Rè Armachilde Parisana, ò Parigina, sua figlia naturale, ad Alberico Suardo suo figlio, con dote di diecimila fiorini d'oro, i quali ambedue marito, e moglie col predetto Duca
