E' una delle più antiche Famiglie nobili di Feltre, che quantunque non riscontrasi descritta nei registri di quel nobile Consiglio che dall'anno 1558, consta però da documenti, che la di lei iscrizione sia anteriore di molto a tal epoca. Essa posside inoltre un onorevole Diploma dell'Imperatore Carlo V dell'anno 1547, col quale riconoscendo l'antichissima nobiltà che la famiglia possedeva nei remoti tempi nel territorio vicentino col titolo di Marchese e Conte concesse alla medesima la nobiltà del Sacro Romano Impero e degli Stati ereditarj. Fu confermata nobile con Sovrana Risoluzione 16 giugno 1821. Si ricordano: Bernardo Antonio del fu Conte Agostino e della nob. sig. Anna Maria Marangoni, nato il 13 settembre 1767, ammogliatosi il 25 aprile 1795 colla nob. sign. Catterina Vergerio. Loro figli furono: Agostino Giorgio, nato il 14 settembre 1798; Faramondo Giorgio, nato il primo gennaio 1804, morto il 6 settembre 1825; Anna Maria.
