Questo ramo della precedente famiglia, di cui fu capostipite Geri, di Leopoldo, come già abbiamo detto, e che si estinse, nel 1743, nei Rucellai, fu iscritto al Libro d'Oro dei Patrizi di Firenze, quartiere di San Giovanni, gonfalone Vaio, con decreto 27 dicembre 1751. Figlio di Geri fu Leopoldo o Poldo, sposato con Ginevra di Lorenzo Gianfigliazzi (1501), da cui nacque Geri, che da Lucrezia Mannucci ebbe Cammillo, coniugato (1560) con Maria Buondelmonti e padre di Geri, cavaliere, marito di Ippolita Nasi (1586), da cui venne Piero. Questi da Maria Lisabetta Neri Giraldi (1618) ebbe Girolamo, sposato a Teresa Grifoni (1646), da cui nacque il senatore, cavaliere, priore Alamanno Tommaso, dal cui matrimonio con Maria del Tovaglia (1679) venne il cavaliere Gio.
