Un Riall, testimone in un atto del 1210 per Eudon de Pontchâteau a l'abbazia di Bianche-Couronne. Alain Bourigan nel 1360 sposò Alice de la Lande , dama d'onore di Maria di Bretagna duchessa d'Anjou. Ebbero due figli, Giovanni signore d'Orvault e Alain signore di Boisorcant, i loro discendenti, stabilitisi in Borgogna nel 1504 furono investiti con i titoli di Marchese di Louesme e Baroni di Tannerre. Di questa famiglia furono due maestri di campo arruolati nelle truppe di Carlo VIII calato in Italia nel 1494, un paggio della Regina nel 1519, quattro Cavalieri dell'ordine dal 1570 al 1611; un capitano di guerra nel 1598, un governatore della Guèrande e Croisic, un gentiluomo della camera nel 1605, un paggio del Re Luigi XV di Francia nel 1718.
