A família Oriunda de Varese. A favor de um ramo dele, agora extinto, com o decreto de março de 1791, o Conselho de Governo da RI reconheceu a antiga nobreza generosa, na pessoa de Don Giuseppe e do abade Don Gio. Battista, filhos do nobre e ilustre sig. Don Gabrio, secretário da cidade de Milão. O mesmo predito de Dom Giuseppe foi confirmado mais tarde na antiga nobreza com a Resolução Soberana de 10 de abril de 1816. Por ocasião do reconhecimento de 1791, o Conselho do Governo levou especialmente em consideração o privilégio do imperador Ferdinand II, concedido em Regensburg em 20 de agosto de 1630, com a qual, considerando a antiga nobreza da família, ele permitiu que Bernardo armasse sua arma com a de seu genro, Camillo Colombani.
