Famiglia d'origine corsa, che trapiantata a Verona risulta iscritta nel campione dell'estimo fino dal 1664, ma non aggregata al Consiglio nobile che nel 1800. Con Diploma 31 gennaio 1680 la duchessa reggente Maria Giovanna di Savoia investì del titolo di conte, che fu confermato ed esteso a tutti i maschi. La nobiltà fu confermata con S.R. 22 settembre 1820. Altro ramo. Famiglia di Oriuela che si trasferì a Cagliari alla fine del secolo XVI con il capitano Andrea commissario generale dell'artiglieria, che sposò una Otger. Suo figlio Michele ereditò l'ufficio e nel 1618 chiese il riconoscimento della nobiltà. Fu suo fratello, Giovanni Battista, uno degli architetti che lavorarono alle mura dei Cagliari. Solo nel 1646 Pietro, suo figlio, ottenne il privilegio e fu ammesso allo stamento militare nel 1653 durante il Parlamento Lemos. I suoi discendenti furono presenti a tutti gli altri parlamenti. Della famiglia non si hanno più notizie
