La Magistratura civica di Fiesole, con partito del 22 agosto 1843, propose l'ascrizione al ceto nobile di quella città dei fratelli Ferdinando, ufficiale superiore medico nelle truppe del vicerè d'Egitto, dottor Francesco e Leopoldo, figli di Giuseppe Antonio. Tale proposta fu accolta con rescritto sovrano del 7 giugno dell'anno successivo. Il predetto Leopoldo, chiamato erede dal barone Gaetano Ricasoli, fu autorizzato, con rescritto granducale 8 marzo 1850, ad aggiungere il cognome e ad inquartare lo stemma del de cuius. La famiglia è iscritta nell'Elenco Ufficiale Italiana col titolo di nobile di Fiesole (maschi e femmine), in persona di Giuseppe, di Bettino Gaetano, di Leopoldo. Fratelli: Camillo e Leopoldo. L'inquartato è tra gli stemmi dei Perfetti e quello dei Ricasoli: Leopoldo Perfetti fu erede del barone Gaetano Ricasoli e con decreto del 1855 aggiunse il cognome e inquartò lo stemma.
