Antica ed assai nobile famiglia veneta, di chiara ed avita virtù, propagatasi, nel corso dei secoli, in diverse regioni d'Italia. La famiglia ha avuto origine in Rovigno, ove figura tra le cittadine originarie: "1425 Perin qm Zuanne d'onde il cognome Perin, de Perinis, e Perini in Maria v. vedova 1471". Successivamente i Perini debbono essersi dedicati al notariato poiché nel Libro Catastatico del 1636, leggiamo: "Ego Joseph de Perinis q. D.ni Antonij, Civis Rubinenis, Publicus Notarius, approbatus, Autoritate Veneta confirmatus ac in presenti Canc.s sp.lis communitatis ellectus, rogatusque, ut hoc omnia, in hoc volumine, catastatico inscripto reponere fideliter reposui, hanc quoque autenticam ei formam dedi et adppeniam, nomine, cognomine, ac proprio sigillo eum insignivi...". Un ramo del casato passò nello stesso secolo a risiedere in Vicenza, nel cui nobile Consiglio ottenne e mantenne a lungo un posto di rilievo.
