Nelle liste dei benemeriti fra le famiglia bresciane, che si distinsero nella resistenza all'assedio feroce del Capitano dei Visconti, nel 1438, figura anche Comino Peronio oriundo di Rovato. Egli è presente anche negli estimi degli anni posteriori sino al 1475, poi appare il figlio Angelo, già morto nel 1517l. Da questi la famiglia, che verrà poi ammessa al Consiglio Generale della Nobiltà Bresciana, continua col figlio suo Marco-Antonio, padre di Giovanni-Francesco e Ottavio. La discendenza del primo si estinse dopo quattro generazioni, sul finire del secolo XVII; quella del secondo invece continuò con Carlo (n. 1614), padre di Gio. Battista (n.1660), il quale dalla moglie nob. Paolo Paratico ebbe parecchi, figli, fra i quali soltanto Angelo (nel 1707), marito della nob. Grandiglia Barbogli, ebbe figli.
