Los primeros recuerdos hasta ahora comprobados de esta fam. Regrese a los hermanos Nicola y Giovanni Perrelli, realeza familiar, que viven en el cuerpo de la ciudad de la cantera en el siglo. XIII, y a su pato silvestre, juez Filippo. De estos descienden los actuales representantes de la fam. Entre otros: Andrea, quien en 1416 presentó a Giovanna II con el diploma de la reina Margarita de Durazzo a favor de la ciudad de Cava, para confirmarlo y quien fundó una capilla en la colegiata de S. Maria Maggiore del Corpo di Cava en 1419 dedicado a San Juan Otro Andrea, que murió a principios del siglo XVI, recordó por sus méritos en un diploma de Carlos V del 24 de marzo de 1536. Alfonso, quien obtuvo, con el mismo diploma, la reconfirmación del escudo de armas y el derecho a unir el escudo al águila del imperio. .
