Famille de robe originaire d'Auvergne. Branche à Allègre. Madeleine Perron épousa le 26 avril 1641, Louis de Fretat. Marc-Jean fut élu en l'élection d'Issoire (1691). Joseph Perron, fils du précédent, conseiller du roi, président de l'élection d'Issoire (1721), avait pour frère Antoine, marié à Catherine de Mozac, père de Françoise alliée à Jacques Roucon et de Marie épouse de Benoît du Crozet écuyer, seigneur de Rouquerolles, demeurent à Allègre.
