Ursprünglich aus dem Piemont stammend, ging er im 13. Jahrhundert in das Königreich Neapel über. Er genoss den Adel in Cosenza, Reggio und Neapel. Neapolitanische Patrizia des Capuana-Sitzes, 1745 in der Linie der Herzöge von Bovalino zusammengefasst; Infeudata von Diano, Ripocandida, Roccaromana, Brienza. 1592 in der SMO von Malta für die von Cosenza, Viertel des Ritters Landulfo, für Gerechtigkeit empfangen; und für den Zweig von Neapel mit seinem Ritter, ab 1659, mit wichtigen Titeln und Lehen ausgestattet, die nacheinander an andere Familien weitergegeben wurden, darunter die des Herzogs von Bovalino, die 1716 im Austausch und mit dem Dienstalter des anderen des Herzogs von Saracina verliehen wurden der seit 1617 Dienstalter hatte und von Marquis von Castelluccio 1620 bewilligt wurde. In den Zulassungsprüfungen in der RR wiederholt von großzügigem Adel erklärt. Leibwächter.
