Familia originaria de Colorno Parmense. Tenía el título de nobleza de Parma en la persona del jurisconsulto Octavio y su hermano Lodovico, junto con los descendientes de ambos sexos. El duque Francesco en la licencia de concesión, el 12 de noviembre de 1725, recuerda los distinguidos méritos de su padre Camillo, teniente de infantería en el segundo tribunal de Colorno, entonces comandante del mismo, en el momento de Ranuccio II, los méritos del doctor Ottaviano para servicios prestados a la duquesa Margherita de Módena, su hermana. De Lodovico nació el dr. Cesare, que ocupó el rango de teniente en las tropas ducales, y tuvo para su hijo Angelo Maria, quien se casó con Maria Elazon. De aquí provienen las tres ramas de la familia Pescatori de Parma, cuyos progenitores son Erminio, Francesco, Lugi, di Curzio, di Angelo Maria. Erminio, de Luigi, de Curzio, murió en Santa Lucia di Tolmino en la última guerra nacional. Otra rama Atribuido al Consejo Noble de Verona en 1409. Otra rama. Familia antigua y noble originaria de Rávena.
