Giovanni-Giacomo fu prefetto in patria dal 1607 al 1609, poi consigliere di Stato, quindi presidente del Senato di Torino per marchesato di Saluzzo, e poscia primo presidente, e nel 1625 gran Cancelliere. Con patenti 4 Giugno 1643 gli fu concesso il feudo di Costa di Oneglia con titolo comitale. Carlo, di lui figlio, fu Vescovo di Saluzzo nel 1664; Francesco, altro figlio, fu giudice di Pinerolo nel 1619, prefetto di Saluzzo e senatore nel 1629, presidente nel 1644, auditore e sovintendente generale della milizia e genti di guerra nel 1652. Estinta nel 1716 nella persona di Givoan-Giacomo, nipote del precedente, che lasciò parte della sua credità allo spedale di carità di Torino. L'agnazione continua tuttavia in Carmagnola.
