Antica famiglia francese, originaria di Gironde, nel dipartimento di Burdeos, detta Pessach o Pessac e, più anticamente, Prechac, propagatasi in Spagna, anteriormente al XVII secolo, ed in diverse regioni d'Italia. Con la variante Prechac, rinveniamo un certo Don Bernaro, nativo della diocesi di Lees, ove era Signore di alcune giurisdizioni ed amministratore di giustizia. Nel Collegio Araldico francese, in ogni modo, si conservano alcuni documenti, relativamente ai cavalieri della famiglia Pessach, ossia: Buzy e Jean, cavalieri della Corte Suprema, dal 23 giugno 1650; Juan, Consigliere del Parlamento di Navarra, sin dal 23 maggio 1693. Da quest'ultimo, derivò la linea che passò in Spagna, ove, per Real Riconoscimento 23 marzo 1751, fu riconosciuta nell'avita nobiltà, la quale si illustrò con quel D. Pierre, marito di Madaleine de Hondarrez, da cui ebbe Jacques, nato in Prechacq Navarreux, il 14 giugno 1716, il quale si maritò con la nobile Madame Marie de Casamayor,
