Eles descendem de um Silvester Nicolaj Bucij de Peta, morando em 1249. Eles moravam no distrito de Pigna e tinham túmulos na igreja de Santi Quaranta. O cavaleiro Jacovacci preservou os nomes dos seguintes indivíduos: Paolo (1401); Giovanni Andrea di Paolo (1445); Antonio di Paolo (1462); Anjo de Antonio (1502); Antonio Batista (1513); Lorenzo Aromatario (1500). Dizem que os irmãos Luca, Tullio e Antonio de Petis são Nobiles, em um documento de 1550. A família criada para Arma: com faixas em ondas prateadas e negras. Cabeça de azul carregada com um cão de galgo que passava, colarinho de vermelho. Era o costume das famílias mais antigas, que após a queda do Império Romano, naquele dilúvio dos bárbaros, tendo seus sobrenomes, assim como seus estudos, e outras coisas bonitas perdidas e deixadas apenas com nomes simples, desenhavam seus sobrenomes , e sua família por nomes próprios paternos e pelos principais.
