Reintegrata alla nobiltà di Ravello nel 1732 in persona di Francesco e riconosciuta con R. Rescritto 10 giugno 1850 idonea al grado di sotto-brigadiere delle RR. Guardie del Corpo. La famiglia ha partecipato alla storia di Napoli ed alle sue vicende durante i trascorsi, concorrendo non poco alla nobiltà e alle cariche istituzionali della stessa città, fatte dai re che hanno regnato nel Ducato di Napoli. Molti regni hanno passato su questa provincia bizantina, retta da un dux. Nel 638 Napoli fu dipendente del governatore della Sicilia e in seguito governata direttamente dall'imperatore. Il duca-vescovo Stefano II fu il primo dei duchi elettivi che si succedettero per circa un secolo, seguiti dai duchi ereditari. Oltre a Napoli, il ducato comprendeva Pozzuoli, Cuma, Sorrento e la Terra del Lavoro. L'eta d'oro fu il X secolo, sotto i regni di Gregorio III, Sergio II, Atanasio II, Gregorio IV e Giovanni II; in
