A esa casa pertenecía, en el último tercio del siglo XVI Juan Gutiérrez de P., natural de Maoño, que casó con doña María de Alsedo, natural de Mogro, lugar del Ayuntamiento de Miengo y partido de Torrelavega, y procrearon a Luis de P., natural de Maoño, que contrajo matrimonio con doña Eugenia de Salmón Alvear, natural de Santander (hija de Juan Salmón, natural del pueblo de Camargo, en el partido judicial de Santander; y de doña Celedonia de Alvear, natural de Santander), naciendo de ese enlace El Capitán Pedro de P. y Alvera, natural de Santander y Caballero de la Orden de Santiago, en la que ingresó el 7 de Septiembre de 1668.
