Ancient and noble German family, know as Pfadler or Pfahler, originally from Bavaria, of clear and ancestral virtue, that has worldwide spread, over the centuries. Do not be surprised by the double surname version. In ancient German texts the letters "d" and "h" were often confused. According to what has been handed down, this illustrious family was ennobled by Emperor Charles V with a diploma on July 18, 1531, granted to a George P. who also received the granting of the coat of arms. His descendants were mint officials in various parts of Germany and some of them settled in Prussia in the mid-17th century. The first to go to Prussia was probably an Ernst, already dead in 1657. His son, Georg Ernst, became a wealthy Prussian landowner. Moreover, this family, in all ages, always stood out, thanks to the prominent figures in the public service, in the liberal professions
