Ancient and noble Italian family, of clear and ancestral virtue, that has worldwide spread, over the centuries. This family was very powerful in the Southern Italy and precisely in the current area of Colle Sannita, nowadays a municipality in the Province of Benevento, in the Italian region Campania. Tradition has it that it had come there from Zoagli (Genoa), however; a trait common to many noble families in Southern Italy.
