Vittorio Bacci sposò Maria Pasqualino, che, non sappiamo per quale diritto, venne riconosciuta nel 1920 nei titoli di marchese di Marineo, conte di Capaci, barone di Chiusagrande. Per anticipata successione materna, nel 1921 venne consentito di usare il titolo di conte di Capaci al figlio di detti coniugi, Ruggero (col cognome P.-Bacci), e tanto il detto Ruggero che il fratello Guido ebbero riconoscimento del titolo di nobile dei marchesi di Marineo, ecc. A questa famiglia ha appartenuto il titolo di Conte, titolo che solevasi dagli imperatori a coloro che erano al loro fianco. Da questi Conti si sceglieva coloro che venivano destinati a soprintendere agli uffizi del regio palazzo, ed altri erano mandati al governo delle provincie dell'impero ed a gurdare i confini.
