Ancient and noble Sicilian family, with main residence in the city of Messina, of clear and ancestral virtue, that has worldwide spread, over the centuries. The family was originally known as Pittella but variations such as Pittelli and Pittello are very common. The clear nobility of this House is confirmed by the presence of its blazon in the most renowned Italian armorial bearings and in the state archives of Sicily.
