Pedro Marimón de P., de Barcelona, catalán valiente y muy docto, fue uno de los nobles de Cataluña que concurrieron a formar los fueros. Su gran prudencia la publica la fama". Esas noticias de Febrer atestiguan la antigüedad del linaje y su nobleza, y que de Barcelona lo llevó a Valencia, cuando la conquista de esta ciudad por don Jaime I, el mencionado caballero Pedro Marimón de P. También moró una rama de este apellido en el Vallés.
