Illustrious and very ancient family, which gave 4 mayors to the homeland: Tuccio in 1471, Fabrizio in 1645-46, Carlo seniore in 1743-40 and Carlo juniore. Agostino Plutino in 1664 was one of the 14 noble founders of the Congregation of S. Domenico. Agostino, several times deputy of the kingdom of Italy, was created senator by King Umberto I.
