Ancient and noble Lombard family from Milan, adorned with the noble title of counts, with family branches spread to different regions of the north. Other Branch. one of the most illustrious and powerful Treviso families, of very ancient origin, coming from Pola. Bonifacio, elected Podestà of Treviso in 1269, was the first to have relations with this city; he is historically the grandson of another Boniface, living in 1150, from whom that Monfiorido also descends, feudal lord of the patriarch of Aquileia, who played a notable part in the history of the patriarchate in those times. The family took up permanent residence in Treviso, towards the end of the 14th century, and since then it has been mentioned in the documents with the qualifications of the counts.
