Très illustre maison de la Bretagne, d'une haute antiquité, dont les premiers auteurs connus sont: Jean, archer dans une montre de 1356; Jean, rend hommage au vicomte de Rohan en 1396; Rolland, époux de Denise Hus, prête serment au duc entre les nobles de Lamballe en 1437 et fait son testament en 1449; Jean, fils des précédents, marié à Perrine de Créhen, auteur de toutes les branches de cette famille, qui a produit: Guillaume, capitaine des ordonnances de la reine Anne en 1500; Guillaume, chevalier de l'ordre et gentilhomme de la chambre du Roi en 1620; deux autres chevaliers de l'ordre en 1634 et 1641; un major garde-côtes de la compagnie de Matignon au combat de Saint-Cast en 1758; une fille à Saint-Cyr en 1780, et un maréchal de camp en 1791. Le seigneur de Keraudy, débouté à l'intendance en 1699.
