Branche bâtarde de la maison de Polignac, issue de Jean, fils naturel de Randon-Armand VII (appelé par de Courcelles Armand X), vicomte de Polignac, qui le reconnut et lui donna les seigneuries d'Adiac et de Belvezer (1404-1416). Ce Jean eut un fils, Louis, père lui même de François qui traite en 1460 et meurt avant 1511, laissant une fille, Isabeau, alliée le 17 février 1511 à Louis de Blau de Gilbertès et un fils, Jean, deuxième du nom, marié à Françoise de Montaigu. Leur descendance, qui compte entre autres un chevalier de l'ordre du roi (1598), obtint la terre de Lardeyrol par l'alliance de François Polignac d'Adiac, le 28 mai 1564, avec Jeanne de Marcenat, héritière de cette baronnie et s'éteignit avec Marguerite-Félicité, seconde fille de Marc de Polignac d'Adiac, laquelle, mariée à Jean d'Ariouse de St-Quentin, baron de Cusse, testa à Pradelles le 19 décembre 1648.
