Un Cesare con S. R. A. 29 maggio 1847 venne elevato al grado di cavaliere dell'I. A. coi suoi discendenti legittimi d'ambo i sessi. Altro ramo. Famiglia cagliaritana, originaria di Mendrisio, le cui notizie risalgono al secolo XVII. I Pollini erano mercanti e si resero benemeriti per le loro elargizioni gratuite durante le carestie che colpirono la Sardegna nella seconda metà del secolo. Nel 1797 ottennero il cavalierato ereditario e la nobiltà con un Gaetano, che nel 1801 ebbe il titolo comitale. L'elmo: d'argento posto in profilo graticolato con cinque affibbiature e ornato di lambrecchini degli stessi smalti delle armi. Altro ramo.
