Antica famiglia oriunda da Dronero. Appartenne ad essa il capitano Paride, il quale consegnò l'arma gentilizia nel 1614. Da costui nacque Orazio, il quale ebbe numerosa prole, per cui ottenne il 27 novembre 1634 l'immunità dei 12 figli. Il primogenito Paride diede origine alla linea comitale di Zumaglia, il secondogenito Gaspare a quella comitale di Rigrasso, e il quartogenito Francesco a quella comitale di Rigaud; quest'ultimo ora estinta. Ascese il ramo presente alla dignità nobiliare con Gaspare figlio del capitano Paride Orazio, figlio del citato Gaspare, il quale fu infeudato dai cascinali di Strepe, Sprina e Rigrasso; da denominarsi Rigrasso il 28 novembre 1735 e investito col titolo comitale il 29 dello stesso mese. Ultimo maschi di questa famiglia è Gaspare Alessandro (nato Savigliano, 10 aprile 1859), il quale dalle sue nozze (1890) con Angelica Reviglio della Venezia ebbe Paola (nato 8 gennaio 1892).
