Antica e nobile famiglia di Ascoli Piceno, detta Colucci o Coluccio, derivata dalla stirpe dei Guarrutti, i cui diversi rami presero nome o da un possedimento o da un patronimico. Il ramo in parola trasse il nome dal castello di Coluccio presso S. Severino. Nel 1263 questo ramo fu investito da re Manfredi della contea di S. Angelo in Pantano; titolo non ancora riconosciuto dalla Consulta Araldica. Angeluccio fu il capostipite certo. Da esso vennero vari rami che presero cognomi differenti quali i C., i Nicolai, gli Angelini, i Nicodemi. Gloria di questa stirpe fu il gran Compagnone figlio di Angeluccio fu podestà di Bologna. Giuseppe fu illustre poeta nel secolo XVI. Giulio Cesare fu capitano per la Repubblica Veneta; Giuseppe fu abate e illustre scrittore delle "Antiche Picene". Nacque 9 marzo 1752 e morì 16 marzo 1809.
