Nel nobiliario sardo, opera che raccoglie gran parte delle famiglie nobili di sardegna, ivi compresi gli stemmari appartenute a quelle famiglie che risiedevano in quelle città. La famiglia è compresa trà le nobili di detta terra, come risulta dai tratti genealogici conservati presso le biblioteche raccolte nel nobiliario. Numerose famiglie che risiedevano in sardegna ne' secoli trascorsi, provenivano dalla spagna o dalle terre di toscana e liguria, che al seguito di personaggi che in quei luoghi dominavano, posarono poscia la loro dimora. Famiglia di Gonnosnò le cui notizie risalgono al secolo XVII. Nel 1634 ottenne il cavalierato ereditario e la nobiltà con un Pietro Giovanni. I suoi figli furono ammessi allo stamento militare nel 1666 durante il Parlamento Camarassa. Alla fine del secolo si trasferirono ad Oristano dove ebbero l'ufficio ereditario di saliniere minore e ricopriorno uffici pubblici. Della famiglia non si ebbero più notizie dal secolo XVIII.
