Marcos P., un soldato di Napoli, venne a servire il re di Spagna, prendendo parte all'assedio di Fuenterrabía nel 1638. In seguito sposò Doña Micaela de Barrutia, nativa di Garagarza, ed erano i genitori di Martín P. e Barrutia, nativo di Santa Agueda de Guesalibar, nella giurisdizione della città di Mondragón, che sposò María Asenci de Arcaraso, e procrearono Domingo P. de Arcaraso, nativo di Santa Agueda de Guesalibar, che nel 1723 formalizzò la nobiltà del suo lignaggio.
