Don Esteban P. y Du-Ruth, né à Ecouen le 7 mai 1682, s'installe aux îles Canaries dans les premières années du XVIIIe siècle, s'installant à La Laguna de Tenerife, où il épouse Doña Rita Juana le 6 décembre 1706 .de la Luz Sopranis Daturi, baptisée dans la paroisse mère le 4 juillet 1692. Elle était la fille du capitaine Don Juan de la Luz de Dutari y Fuentes, originaire de la ville de Maya dans la vallée de Baztán (Navarre). Don Esteban P., fut consul général de France aux îles Canaries, par la miséricorde du roi Louis XVI, en 1709, poste qu'il occupa jusqu'à sa mort à Paris le 1er octobre 1739.
