Questo ramo della famiglia è insignito del titolo di conte, per concessione fatta con diploma 29 luglio 1729 dall'imperatore Carlo VI a Giovanni Gaspare, a sua figlia Marianna e al marito di costei Francesco e ai legittimi discendenti maschi dei detti coniugi per linea di primogenitura. Non ebbe luogo per questo titolo l'acquisto del feudo, perché la contessa Marianna Caimi, all'invito rivoltole dal magistrato Politico Camerale il 22 marzo 1786, si offerse, insieme col figlio Gio. Battista, di pagare, come poi fece, il vallimento in luogo all'acquisto del feudo. Deriva invece l'altro titolo di conte di S. Maria della Bicocca nel Novarese dalla concessione di quel feudo col titolo comitale fatta, con diploma 12 maggio 1744, da Carlo Emanuele III, re di Sardegna, allo stesso Francesco, marito di Marianna Caimi, e ai suoi discendenti primogeniti, e dal successivo diploma di quel sovrano dell'8 luglio 1769 col quale Gio.
