In Sicilia fiorì una famiglia che godette nobiltà in Palermo e in Messina e della quale notiamo un Antonino senatore di Palermo; un Sebastiano che tenne la stessa carica in detta città nel 1595-96; uno Stefano e un Pasquale annotati nella mastra nobile del Mollica 1600, 1606; un Francesco che, con privilegio dato il 26 luglio esecutoriato il 30 ottobre 1637, ottenne il titolo di marchese di Gallidoro; un Giambattista che fu senatore di Messina; un Antonino che, con privilegio dato il 24 dicembre 1648 esecutoriato il 16 giugno 1649, ottenne il titolo di principe di San Pietro e fu senatore di Messina; un Diego che, con privilegio esecutoriato il 14 maggio 1655, ebbe concessione del titolo di Marchese di Camporotondo; un Carlo che fu senatore di Messina nel 1671-1672.
