Antiga família siciliana, denominada Presti, Preste ou Presta, de clara e ancestral nobreza, com residência em Sutera, Salemi e Palermo, que se espalhou ao longo dos séculos por diversas regiões da Itália. Além disso, esta família, em todas as épocas, sempre conseguiu destacar-se, graças às altas personalidades que deu à luz.
