Un Guglielmo Raguso possedette il feudo Gomerino in Malta, del quale ottenne conferma il 17 giugno 1320; un Antonio Raguso, da Caltagirone, con privilegio del 4 novembre 1578, ebbe concessione del titolo di regio cavaliere; un Giovanni Antonio Raguso fu giurato in Mazzara nel 1582-83; un Gaetano fu giudice della Corte pretoriana di Palermo nel 1728-1729, del Tribunale del Concistoro nel 1732, della Gran Corte nel 1741-42; un Cirillo fu proconservatore in Caltabellotta nel 1729 e tale carica tenne, nel 1734, in Mazzara un Giovanni; un Biagio fu giudice pretoriano in Palermo nel 1751-52 e del Concistoro negli anni 1773-74-75; un Giovanni e Spatafora tenne la carica di prefetto in Mazzara nel 1745-46 e nel 1765-66 si trova tra i nobili da scrutinarsi in detta città; un dottore Giuseppe il 10 settembre 1764 è proposto tra i nobili per far parte della Mastra di Milazzo; un Giovanni e Roblebillo
