Ursprünglich aus Savona stammend, Raimondo, Ramondo oder Ramundo genannt, genoss es im 17. und 18. Jahrhundert in Messina den Adel. Ein Riccado Raimondo war der oberste Knappe von König Martino, er ließ sich in Catania nieder, wo er die ersten Ämter innehatte, und war der Vater von Egizio, der 1450 die Geheimnisse von Palermo von König Alfonso erhielt.
