Nascimbene di Giovanni nel 1008 era notajo del sacro palazzo; Ingelerio nel 1199 fu presente al giuramento degli uomini di Ceneda nell'occasione in cui furono ammessi alla cittadinanza di Treviso; Virillo console di Treviso nel 1208. Sembra che questa famiglia abbia anche goduto della cittadinanza di Feltre poichè Gervasio Raini nel 1345 vien nominato cittadino di detta città allorchè si trattò di rispondere agli ambasciatori di Treviso sopra alcune differenze insorte per causa dei confini. Qualche tempo avanti un Giovanni fu mandato dai Feltrini ambasciatore a Treviso. Nel XIV secolo di questa famiglia si perdone le tracce. Fu costume delle più antiche famiglie, le quali dopo la caduta del Romano Imperio, in quella inondatione de' Barbari, havendo i loro cognomi, sicome gli studi, e altre cose belle smarrito e restati solo con semplici nomi, trarre di nuovo i loro cognomi, e il loro casato da' nomi proprii paterni, e de'
