Antica ed assai nobile famiglia della Germania, originaria della Baviera e con illustri residenze in Ratisbona, Norimberga e Monaco, di chiara ed avita virtù, propagatasi, nel corso dei secoli, in diverse regioni europee e del Mondo, con un araldicamente rilevante insediamento in Austria. In Vienna, infatti, la famiglia Rauscher fu riconosciuta di avita nobiltà nel 1808, fregiata del cavalierato il 12 luglio 1828 e confermata in tali titoli il 23 giugno 1880. Di molta più antica origine la nobiltà della famiglia in Germania. Gli insediamenti più antichi si rinvengono in Ratisbona ed in Norimberga, entrambe città ove le memorie familiari si perdono tra i drappeggi del tempo. Kaspar e Niclas Rauscher hanno ricevuto patente di nobiltà dall'Imperatore Federico III in data 31 luglio 1454. In Norimberga la famiglia risulta presente almeno sin dal 1512, quando fioriva un Wilhelm Rauscher, amministratore di detta città. A questo ramo appartenne anche il celebre

Cimieri: 1° un'aquila uscente e rivolta di nero linguata di rosso; 2° una croce latina d'oro tra due proboscidi troncate alternativamente d'oro e d'azzurro. Svolazzi d'oro e d'azzurro.
