Decorado con RD 23 de diciembre de 1859 del título de barón, otorgado a Pietro Ravelli, título reconocido con DM el 11 de enero de 1882. La familia ha participado en la historia de Nápoles y sus eventos durante el pasado, contribuyendo en gran medida a la nobleza y los oficios institucionales de la misma ciudad, hecha por los reyes que reinaron en el ducado de Nápoles.
