Famiglia bolognese residente ad Orvieto. Sua Santità Benedetto XV con Breve in data 18 settembre 1920, per benemerenze verso la Chiesa, concedeva ad Angelo il titolo di Conte trasmissibile per linea primogeniale mascolina. Successivamente lo stesso Angelo otteneva l'autorizzazione ad usarlo nel Regno con R.D. 13 dicembre 1928 e RR. LL. PP. 16 maggio 1929. E' iscritto nel Libro d'Oro della Nob. Ital. e nell'Elenco Uff. Nob. Ital. del 1933, col titolo di Conte (mpr.) in virtù del su citato Decreto: Angelo, di Alfonso e di Teresa Thilbourg, nata a Bologna 20 ottobre 1886, sposata nel maggio 1920 con Luca Urbani. Figlie (non iscritte nell'Elenco Ufficiale Nob. del 1933): Maria Luisa; Beatrice Maria.
